REC Names Director of Finance and Accounting

REC recently promoted Larry G. Andrews to director of finance and accounting. Andrews, who previously served as treasury and financial services specialist, will lead the Finance and Accounting department where he will ensure that REC receives an unqualified annual audit, plan short- and long-term goals for the department, review reports and financials, and support the Finance and Accounting team in their duties and responsibilities.
Andrews, who grew up in the Bowling Green area of Caroline County, holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from Virginia Tech. He has been with the Cooperative for over nine years and will graduate in May 2011 from the University of Mary Washington with a master’s in business administration. He resides with his family in Fredericksburg.
REC provides electric service to over 154,000 connections in parts of 22 Virginia counties.
