The Power of Change

Operation Round Up® allows Rappahannock Electric Cooperative members to voluntarily round-up their electric bills to the next whole dollar. Each bill's extra change is donated to individuals, schools, non-profit organizations, philanthropic groups and other causes within their community. This "small change" given on a regular basis can amount to "big change" in our local communities.

If you choose to participate, your electric bill will automatically be rounded up to the next whole dollar amount. We will also track your tax-deductible donations and provide an annual statement of your charitable contributions.

A board of directors of seven REC members reviews applications for support and determines organizations that will receive funding from Operation Round Up.
