REC in the Community

From farmers markets to county fairs you can often see your cooperative in the community making an impact.

Members can donate to local charities through REC by rounding up their electric bill.

REC helps local high school seniors, trade school, and college students achieve their educational goals through community program scholarships.

Each year, students from REC’s service territory travel to Washington, D.C., to explore key issues in the electric industry and meet their members of Congress.

The Cooperative has on staff knowledgeable experts who can speak to groups of all ages about a variety of topics.
