Meet the Energy Villains

Volty, The Voltage Villain

Volty feeds on wasted energy. Lights left on, chargers plugged in and TVs glowing in empty rooms make him stronger. When families use energy wisely, Volty's power quickly fades.

HERO TIP:
Turn off lights when you leave a room.

Watthog

Watthog gobbles up electricity and leaves less power for what matters. He loves gadgets, chargers, and electronics that stay plugged in when they’re not being used.

Unplug chargers and devices when you’re done using them.

Frostbite

Frostbite steals your cool air and makes your air conditioner work overtime. Drafts, open doors, and sunny windows help him waste energy and grow stronger.

Keep doors and windows closed when the AC is running.

Inferno

Inferno loves turning up the heat and letting warm air escape. Drafty doors, air leaks, and energy-hungry space heaters fuel his fiery power. The more heat a home wastes, the bigger Inferno’s power grows.

Important Information

  • A parent or guardian must submit each quest.
  • Submissions take less than one minute.
  • All information is used only for the Power Saver Heroes program.
  • Children must be 17 years old or younger to participate.
  • One Energy Villian plushie (while supplies last) per child upon completion of all four quests.
