REC may not have been there in person, but the Cooperative still took part in the Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department Car Show in October.

REC sponsored the car show, and displayed one of its electric vehicles and information about electric vehicles for those in attendance.

REC lineworkers delivered a strong showing at the 21st Annual Altec Gaff-n-Go Rodeo, held May 16–17 at Meadow Event Park in Doswell.
