We were in the studio with Casey Hollins, Director of Communications and Public Relations, and Ryan White, Digital Media Specialist with REC to have a conversation about Project Bolivia – United We Light.

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative is partnering with their statewide association, The Virginia Maryland Delaware Association of Electric Cooperatives, and several other cooperatives to participate in Project Bolivia – United We Light. Line crews will be working 18-day shifts in a village of Bolivia that has never had electricity before. They will dedicate their time there to building the infrastructure and connect them to power for the first time.

Ryan will be traveling with the linemen to document the project via video, blogging and social media.
