UPDATE: PJM Cancels Transmission-Grid Warning

We are sharing an update regarding the PJM power interruption warning previously communicated.

PJM has canceled the transmission-level load curtailment warning for REC’s service area. At this time, REC is not required to implement any controlled outages related to this alert.

REC’s system continues to operate normally. While no further action is needed at this time, conditions across the regional grid will continue to be closely monitored in coordination with PJM and our transmission partners.

We shared the earlier notice out of respect for our members and a commitment to transparency—so you would have advance awareness and time to prepare in the event action became necessary.

We appreciate your preparedness and patience.
