REC Sponsors Annual Holiday Writing Contest

On Dec. 8 the Samuels Library in Front Royal held their 44th Holiday Writing Contest. REC sponsored the event and Jeff Hinson, Director of Member Services and Community Relations, participated in the event, helped judge the entries, provided welcoming comments at the event's reception and handed out awards for the winners. The Holiday Writing Contest brings in hundreds of creative writing entries from children aged kindergarten to 12th grade in Warren County.
