Return of a Family Favorite Event

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) was able to return to a popular attraction in conjunction with the annual Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester. On Friday, Apr. 29 REC attended the Fire Truck Rodeo and Antique Fire Truck Show. A popular event with young families, REC provided a bucket truck as a "Touch a Truck" and its tabletop electric safety demo. As always, REC's toy yellow hats were a big hit again with the youngsters attending. Tracy Umbenour, Field Operations Foreman, Chris Lawson, Key Accounts Executive, Cody Lockhart, Lead Lineman, and Teddy Stout, Apprentice Lineman, met with attendees.
