St. Luke Lutheran Church is the host site for a Winter Warming Shelter, operated by Culpeper Human Services in coordination with Encompass Community Supports. The Salvation Army of Central Virginia, 1900 Chamberlayne Ave, Richmond, opens at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 23, and will remain open continuously through 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27 (likely to be extended). They also have overflow through the Caritas House: (804) 358-0964.
