Rec Donates to 15th Annual 'Camping for Hunger' Food Drive
Thursday | November 23, 2023

For the 15th consecutive year, The River 95.3/WZRV hosted its “Camping for Hunger” the week before Thanksgiving. The event raises awareness of hunger in the northern Shenandoah Valley. All food and monetary donations go to the Front Royal C-CAP, stocking the food pantry for six months.

Michelle Wells, Member Service Representative II & Team Lead, took the Community Van and shopped for needed food items. Jeff Hinson, Director of Member Services and Community Relations; Brian Wolfe, Senior Public Relations Specialist; and Keli Hughes, Communications & Public Relations Generalist, joined Michelle to drop off REC’s donation.
